Hello John . Fit your engine in the intended air frame but dont fit the cowling. Now restrain the model and run a tank of fuel through the engine on the ground use full throttle for short bursts and allow the engine to reach its full temprature . run the engine at various throttle openings and after a five mins or so shut it down and allow to cool . Repeat this a few times and when the engine will idle reliably (Fuel idle screw made need setting ) refill the tank and fly it, keeping the fuel setting slightly rich. Have a couple of flights like this building the speed up and holding full throttle fo longer periods. After say half a dozen flight readjust the fuel settings for full throttle and idle and your engine should be sweet to go.Once it is running really well refit the cowling . You may have to re-adjust the feul setting slightly as the cowling can affect cooling and airflow over the engine , somtimes requireing a fuel adjustment. I run 91FS' on a 41x 7 prop (Graupner ) and they seem fine on that. I also run all my engines on synthetic fuel with 10% nitro. Some may tell you to use fuel with castor oil but it can gumm up internals on modern engines and the externals look awful after a few runs . Synthetic will keep the ngine clean inside and out and running well for years . If this running in seems brief its because modern engines dont require the running in that older engines needed due to the improved manufacture techniques and materials.
Hope this helps
Phil
